Samsung Q1

Origami interface Samsung Q1

The Samsung Q1 is Samsung’s contribution to the Microsoft “Origami Project” (Ultra-Mobile PC). The UMPC is intended to be an always carry device that gives you full Windows XP Tablet functionality in a ~2 pound package.

The Samsung Q1 UMPC is a best-of-class UMPC. Like Samsung’s other recent products, from world’s thinnest X820 phone to their innovative notebooks like the Samsung X1, the design, manufacturing quality, and overall fit-and-finish is second to none.

Carry your Q1 everywhere. Use it as a media player: its instant-on function allows you to watch your favorite programs on the 7″ widescreen (or use it as an MP3 player) without even launching Windows. Or, use it as a PC: Jot down some notes in portrait orientation, or maximize productivity in landscape mode. Whether your corporate application requires an XP-platform, or you just want an ultra-mobile tool for productivity and fun, the Samsung Q1 is the ideal UMPC.
